Spring Fever

Hello Mermaids!

We have Spring Fever all ready, we are totally blaming it on the fact that temperatures are so much warmer this year.  Since it most likely isn't snowing in your neck of the woods we decided to give you a sneak peek of our Spring line.  Make sure to read all the way to the bottom because in true Mermaid fashion there is a surprise at the end.

First off, we adore the color(s) that Pantone has chosen for Color of the year.  Rose Quartz and Serenity are just what the New Year is longing for.  We have gorgeous tie dye tunics in Rose Quartz for Spring that we can not wait to share with you.

Our obsession with stripes is not going anywhere soon.  We love the peak a boo shoulder with this top, you can easily style it with jeans and booties or even a basic maxi skirt and sandals.

Embroidered details are another huge trend that continue into Spring.  We love this denim dress and the details.  Style this with booties, wedges or sandals for a gorgeous look.

Floral is another trend that pops up for Spring.  We love the deep rich colors of this gorgeous dress for a Spring Transition piece.

Share with us your favorite Spring Trend that you are looking forward to in the comments below.  Two lucky ladies will each receive a $25 store credit to Nobella Grace Boutique.  Winner will be announced back here on Wednesday.

{Reveal} Wild Unknown Tarot Reading

This week I decided to use my favorite tarot deck The Wild Unknown; written and illustrated by Kim Krans to give you your weekly message! Be sure to leave me a comment and let me know if your card resonated with you!

Card #1 Three of Wands
Envisioning the Future

The three of wands indicates you've had continued support from others (perhaps from your parents or two good friends). With their help you've formed a sense of self, of your values and morals. But now it's time to rely on yourself for guidance. Clarify your goals, cast others' needs and opinions aside. The future is infinite and it is yours. No one else can see through its layers of light and shadow.

Card #2 The Moon
Vivid Dreams and Fears

In many ways the moon card encompasses the idea of the wild unknown. It is the shadow realm, the place where dreams, fears, and mystery are born. Much darkness can linger here, and if you're not careful this can lead to periods of anxiety and self doubt...almost as though you've lost your way in a house of mirrors. Many great artists have roamed this inner landscape. It's where imagination and creativity drift freely upon the midnight air.

Card #3 The Magician
Self-Empowerment, Action

The magician is a card of boundless, expansive energy. Whereas many of the major arcana deal with stillness or aspects of the mind...this card is all about action, action, action. It's time to see yourself as the wildcat - embrace his speed, grace, and abilities. Do not be afraid to begin. You have the power of all four elements within your reach, now is the time to use them.

So I hope you enjoyed your weekly reading and be sure to join me back here on the NBG blog on Monday's for your weekly spread!

Holiday Style

It's the most wonderful time of the year! We love the holiday season and with Christmas and New Years right around the corner finding the perfect outfit for those holiday parties you'll be invited to is something most have already started thinking about.

Our daily style over at TRL is mostly casual and bohemian so when choosing our holiday look we tend to have to think a little outside of our comfort zones. What we love about this is it allows us to let our creativity flow when choosing the perfect holiday ensemble.

One thing we look for to jazz up our style for the holidays is a little sparkle. Sequins pants are all the rage right now and paired with a more simple neutral top you are sure to make a statement, you can also do the opposite and find a sparkly shirt paired with dark denim jeans. If those ideas are a little too much sparkle for your style try finding a statement necklace that will stand out in a crowd. Lastly, you can never go wrong with a little black dress. A LBD is timeless and looks so stunning this time of year with a pair of silver, gold, or sequin shoes.

We hope these holiday style tips will help you out this season and remember to get creative, have fun with it, and always stay true to YOUR style.

Happy Holidays!

{Reveal} The Faeries' Oracle

Happy Monday mermaids! This week I have decided to use one of my newest oracle card decks, The Faeries' Oracle by Brian Froud and Jessica Macbeth to deliver your weekly motivational messages. Be sure to leave me a comment below with your feedback and if your message resonated with you! I'd love to hear it! <3

What is "faery"? "Faery" is an old term that embraces all the elves and gnomes and fairies and other folk, small and large, of the otherworld. It includes the angels whose wings spread across the cosmos, and the wee things that go bump in the night while they scrub your kitchen, tie your shoes neatly to each other, and knot elf locks in your hair as you sleep.

The word faery also means the place - Faery, the land of all the faeries, also known as the otherworld. Faery is alongside our everyday world, almost but not quite in synchronization with us, overlapping in some ways, different in others, and operating on a different level of energy.

Using the Faeries' Oracle is not like reading with any other card deck, whether tarot or oracle. In other decks we are working with archetypes and intellectual concepts. In The Faeries' Oracle we are, of course, still concerned with those. However, we are also interacting with the living, breathing faery beings. They are just as real as we are, if not more so, but they are very different from us. These differences and the faeries' inimitable approach to life will provide us with some interesting joys, challenges, and experiences as we become acquainted with and use this deck.

Card #1 Nelys the Alchemyst
Inner Transformation. Irrevocable Change.

When Nelys turns up in your reading. get ready for things to happen, inwardly and outwardly. The stuck becomes unstuck, the blocked begins to move. You may have to run to keep up with the speed at which the situation around you is moving. You may also be surprised by the direction things (and you) are taking. You may find your plans, even your desires and dreams, changing as the transformative process takes place. It might not have been in your plans, but later on you will look back and say, "Wow! It wasn't what I expected, but it was just what I needed."

When we have been through such an alchemical process, we can never go back to what we were before - which is probably just as well.

Card #2 The Singer of Transfiguration
Transformation. Transcendence. Metamorphosis.

Jackpot! This card in a reading signifies the joy of success after a time of struggle. A new way of life has been accepted and is being integrated. A sense of inner peace is growing. The struggle has all been worth it. This is a time of consolidation and joy, and is both a reward for past achievements and a time of preparation for the next climb up the path.

Card #3 Gloominous Doom
Self-defeat. Self-Pity. Self-destruction. Taking care of ourselves.

It is time to face the fact that our attitudes and beliefs about ourselves are our own. We may have learned them from others, but the others are not responsible for them in the here and now. We are. If we choose self-pity and pessimism, we make a choice that makes our lives worse. When this card appears in a reading, it indicates that this is a time when understanding that concept is especially important - a time when there is some sort of a crunch in the situation that offers someone the opportunity to notice and change such self-destructive habits. If it is yourself, you know what you need to do. If it is someone else, you may wish to consider how you might support them in this opportunity for change. Can you make sure to give positive feedback at every appropriate opportunity? Can you refrain from nagging, scolding, or complaining at them when they get it wrong? These things help.

I hope you enjoyed this interactive reading! Be sure to meet me back here on the Nobella Grace Blog every Monday so I can help get your week set off in the right direction with each card picked with YOU in mind! :)

Girl-Bossy Reads

Happy Friday, loves!

Can you believe we’re basically already in mid-November?! I keep asking myself where the time is going?! I’m currently in grad school and it truly seems like this semester has flown by, and that’s both a good and bad thing, so much cramming left to do, eeeeek!

As we dive into the holiday season I thought it would be fun to share some of my favorite “girl bossy” reads with y’all! I recently launched my own person fashion and lifestyle blog and have really enjoyed reading books that are all focused on empowering women and gaining inspiration and know-how from these tales, and also a few of my fave “self-help” books on dating, because A) I have to humor myself somehow and B) what the h*** does a girl have to do to get a dude to talk to her?! Anyone else in this same boat, please say I! But really though...it's  a w f u l.

Okay, so here we go! (I stole these descriptions from Amazon, whoopsie! Just felt like those descriptions might be a little more powerful than mine! ;) )

Girl Boss by Sophia Amoruso: Sophia Amoruso is the Founder and Executive Chairman of Nasty Gal. A creative visionary and entrepreneur who was recently named by Forbes as “Fashion’s new phenom,” she has become one of the most prominent figures in retail and a cultural icon. She recently founded the #GIRLBOSS Foundation, which awards financial grants to women in the worlds of design, fashion, music, and the arts, to help fund them on their way to becoming GIRLBOSS’s themselves. #GIRLBOSS, a New York Times bestseller published in fifteen countries around the world, is Sophia’s first book.

Girl Code by Cara Alwill Leyba: Cara Alwill Leyba is an Author and Master Life Coach from New York City who encourages women to create a "Champagne Life" that entails living effervescently, celebrating themselves every day, and making their happiness a priority. She runs an international boutique coaching practice where she works with burnt-out, bored women who know they are meant for more. Through loving guidance, support and an expert perspective, Cara empowers women to challenge their fears and create a lifestyle and career that feels authentic, vibrant, and inspiring.

He’s Just Not That Into You by Greg Behrendt: It’s a classic single-woman scenario: you really like this guy, but he’s giving mixed messages. You make excuses, decide he’s confused, afraid of commitment. Behrendt, a former executive story editor for Sex and the City—and a formerly single (now happily married) guy who knows all the excuses—provides a simple answer: he’s just not that into you. Stop kidding yourself, let go and look for someone else who will be. After all, as Behrendt sensibly puts it, "if a (sane) guy really likes you, there ain’t nothing that’s going to get in his way." If you’re not convinced yet, by all means read this smart, funny and surprisingly upbeat little book, full of q’s and a’s covering every excuse woman has ever made to avoid admitting to herself that a man just wasn’t that smitten with her.

It’s Just a F***ing Date by Greg Behrendt: "The book is jam-packed with straight-talking tips on how to bag your man, and quite frankly, we can't put it down." - The Sun Why does dating have to be so hard? It doesn't! Stop trying to out-game the system and relax. IT'S JUST A F***ING DATE presents the tools, not the rules, for bringing back the art of the date. The ordeals of 21st century dating, from online dating and hooking up to pulling the plug when it isn't working, will soon be easy to navigate. With tips to define what is and isn't a date, how to get asked out, and setting your own dating standards, dating won't seem old-fashioned, it will be fun. Bestselling authors Greg Behrendt and Amiira Ruotola return to the minefield of modern relationships with this revised and updated edition.

Not That Kind of Girl by Lena Dunham: In an era where twenty-something women are told how to think, where to work, who to date, and what to wear, it’s refreshing that a voice has broken the mold to empower women to do one thing—be yourself, flaws and all. In Not That Kind of Girl, Lena Dunham takes readers on a voyage of self-discovery as she successfully navigates the often-perilous facets of womanhood, from dating and friendships to self-love and careers. Through her series of essays, Dunham shares what she’s learned on her path to self-awareness with a refreshing candor and raw honesty that emboldens readers. Her painfully-relatable stories of graduating from one-night stands with toxic men and dead-end jobs with no purpose, to loving relationships and a fulfilling career will leave you laughing, cringing, and sighing “me too.” Thoughtful, hilarious, and exquisitely-written, Dunham’s memoir is like reading your quirky big sister's diary. –Brittany Pirozzolo

Why Not Me? By Mindy Kaling: In Why Not Me? Mindy Kaling has solidified her position as “most valuable friend.” Just like Mindy, these essays are exuberantly funny, deeply introspective and refreshingly thoughtful. From her relationship with BJ Novak and the guy who worked for the president, to creating her TV show and announcing the Emmy nominations, Mindy’s just-between-us-friends approach makes you love her just a little bit more after each story, and you’ll even question if Mindy is your soup snake. By all conventional measures Mindy Kaling should not be where she is, and that is the beauty of the stories she shares—“Work hard, know your shit, show your shit, and then feel entitled.” Accessible and empowering, Why Not Me? makes you want to stand up and shout, “Why not me, too?”--Deborah Bass

If you’re in for a good read with a whole lot of inspo and girl power, I’d HIGHLY recommend cuddling up with any one of these reads as we all see our weather begin to change as the cold continues to approach. And! If you’re already on your gift-giving game, pick a couple of these up for the girl boss in your life as a fun holiday present!

Until next time, loves!

Tis' The Season

Hey girls, Kendall and Kelsey here!

‘Tis the season of Pumpkin Spice Lattes, layers, and booties – are we right or are we right?  Fall is the most wonderful time of year in our humble opinion (and really in the opinion of all those wonderful cardigans waiting to come out of our closets).

I mean, seriously, who doesn’t love fall?!  It is the perfect opportunity to wear more clothes.  Yes, yes we get it – less is more – but not when it comes to layers.  You get to wear that cute tank AND that chunky cardigan.  That is a win-win situation if we have ever heard one!  Who is with us here?

A definite go-to outfit for us is an oversized cardigan paired with a flowy dress.  We just can’t get enough of this look, and you’re in luck because you can totally shop that look here in the Nobella Grace store!  Shop your hearts out ladies and thank us when you are living in a dreamland where comfy meets cute.

On a serious note, we are just excited for the change of season.  Fall always helps us transition into a more relaxed, cozy season.  Days shift from being packed with activities to a little bit slower-paced, where socializing becomes over a cup of coffee by the Starbucks fireplace.

Ushering in the fall season always comes with a sense of gratitude for us as well.  This year, we have been so thankful to meet women like you.  It is truly incredible to meet like-minded fashionistas with a love of style and self-expression.  We are all about building community and sharing life with one another, and we have found that here at Nobella Grace and our community with The Radiant Life.

Thank you for walking with us in this journey, it is so fun to chat all things style, womanhood, and fun with you guys!

{{Reveal}} The Anubis Oracle

Happy Wednesday Mermaids!! This week I decided to use The Anubis Oracle: A Journey Into the Shamanic Mysteries of Egypt by Nicki Scully & Linda Star Wolf & Illustrated by Kris Waldherr to deliver your weekly motivational messages. Be sure to leave me a comment below with your feedback and if your message resonated with you! I'd love to hear it! <3

Card #1 Sacred Purpose
Ptah, Nut, Geb, and Anubis

Ptah speaks from his intelligent heart and reality is created. Anubis, the fully awakened Shaman Priest, enters the sacred garden through the portal created by the divine parents - the overarching sky goddess, Nut, and the rich, green and fertile Earth god, Geb. Thoth is also present as the rainbow serpent who offers the fruit of wisdom and eternal life from the ancient tree.

As you focus on the images on this card, perceive your current life situations with the open hearted wisdom of the Shaman Priest, Anubis, so that what is being birthed or created through your thoughts, words, activities, and everyday story have the greatest potential for completion and wholeness.

Card #2 Amun-Ra
Solar Energies: Transfiguration • Alchemical Gold

Amun-Ra brings together the great solar gods, Amun and Ra, who unite to represent the sun in the fullness of its mysteries. Honoring both the bright golden illuminating brilliance of the day, and the hidden, mysterious night journey when the sun is invisible, Amun-Ra announces our opportunity to step into our full inner authority, into an awakened state of illumined consciousness. When you can fully embrace the cycles of life and death, and pass through the portals of light and dark, each transforms into its opposite.

In the dance of Ra and Amun, an alchemical process is unleashed as the seen mixes with the unseen. That which is consciously created from that awareness - a project, event, or object - is the spiritualized matter, the alchemical gold. We ourselves are the spiritualized matter when we engage with Amun-Ra, who infuses us with dignity and royalty. The powerful light from the Solar Mysteries shines upon us and transfigures us, and we become spiritually mature beings who embody shamanic consciousness in everyday life. Amun-Ra helps us to realize that everything we need to heal ourselves and our world is within our reach; he enters this oracle to help us find it.

If you've pulled this card, you are now ready to embody the solar energies and radiate them into the world around you. You have the opportunity to experience a sacred marriage and enter into the company of gods, becoming fully aware of your divinity. As you meditate on the image of Amun-Ra, you may experience a feeling of radiant power and wholeness, and a readiness to step fully into your power in the world.

Choose wisely what you create from this auspicious moment. Remember that whatever you manifest in the physical world not only shines in the visible, blazing light of Ra but also reflects the Great Mystery of the unseen, Amun, the hidden face of the sun.

Card #3 Osiris
Regeneration: Transmutation • Beauty

Osiris is the enlightened ruler and husband of Isis who was murdered by his brother Set. Through the love and magical practices of Isis, he was revived sufficiently to transmit to her the seed of Horus. He had previously fathered Anubis with Isis's sister, Nephthys.

In Egyptian mystery teachings, all beings strive to awaken as Osiris. The purpose of scriptures such as the Egyptian Book of the Dead, which is actually the Book of Coming Forth by Day, is to guide souls through the transition of death, as well as the transitions of the shamanic rites of passage through death and the Underworld.

Although Osiris has long been associated with death and called the Lord of the Underworld, it is more appropriate to acknowledge him here as the archetypal regenerative principle that transmutes outworn, deteriorating form into its renewed, shining manifestation of beauty. Osiris can be found in the primordial, watery deep, and in the river itself. He invites us to let go and rest upon his earthy green chest as he wraps his supportive arms around our bodies and turns us into that which we're in the process of becoming.

If you've chosen this card, you have been asked to enter deeply into the process of transmutation and regeneration. You are being given the opportunity to experience death of the old consciously and to embrace the beauty that is possible for each of us to experience as we are reborn into the next level of our potential.

Things are changing in your world, and it can be an exciting time. Regardless of what is happening around you, take time to be quiet, and listen for the whispers from Osiris that come from the deepest recesses of your being. He will speak to you of possibilities, potential, and beauty. Feel the stirrings of regeneration within you when you commune with him.

If you enjoyed this interactive reading, meet me back here on the Nobella Grace Blog every Monday so I can help get your week set off in the right direction with each card picked with YOU in mind! :)

Let's Talk {{Tunics}}

Happy Wednesday Mermaids!

Let's talk {{tunics}}!

Tunics are by far my FAVORITE fall staple! With an amazing length, flowy fit, and flattering look, they take up most of my closet! They can be worn so many different ways and I'd love to show you some of my favorite outfits using a tunic as the focal point!

First Up:
{{Out + About}}
One of my favorite ways to wear a tunic is out + about with a pair of destroyed denim! I love the {{Denim + Lace Striped Tunic}} paired with the {{Paige Skinny Jeans}}! Just add some booties for a simple and chic weekend look! I think this tunic would also look fabulous worn unbuttoned with a white tank or graphic tee underneath!

{{Date Night}}
The great thing about tunics is depending on the length, they can be worn as a dress! The beautiful striped {{Bailey Tunic}} has an awesome hi low hemline making it long enough in the front and back for leggings! I added motorcycle booties for a classic look that's sure to have your date giving you tons of compliments...PLUS it's beyond comfy! #winwin :)

 {{Office Chic}}
Why not wear a tunic at the office too? I paired the lovely {{Jane Tunic Top}} with grey Stella skinnies from Banana Republic. I am dyinggggg over the unique detail of lace sleeves to add a feminine touch to this look! To finish the ensemble, I grabbed my favorite slate grey motorcycle booties. An easy, breezy look in snap!

Thanks for reading lovelies! How do YOU wear your favorite Nobella Grace tunic? Leave me a comment below + let me know!

Until Next Time

Going Guiltless

Hello Mermaids!

That time of year is approaching us - oh yes, the holiday season! The holiday season is like a cornucopia of feelings and emotions for women and mothers especially. It’s exciting and fun, there’s lots of events going on, friends to see, activities to do, parties to attend and plan. And it’s busy. There’s parties in the kids’ classrooms at school, at work, events with extended families, deadlines to meet, crafts to make, gifts to buy. Need I mention the stress that abounds during this time of year? It’s all kinds of merriment and overwhelm all mixed up together.

As a mother, I find the last couple months of the year to be guilt inducing. And it’s my own fault. Nobody is forcing me to feel guilty. But I want to keep up. I want to keep up with the “room mom” who puts together the Halloween harvest party, the pilgrim/indian feast and the winter celebration all within a 60 day time frame. She makes it look effortless - you know, like she is a walking Pinterest board or something.

And then there’s the exhaustion of trying to keep up with the Joneses who seem to be taking their family to every possible holiday festivity in the local area - the tree lighting, Candy Cane Lane, the gingerbread house display, the nutcracker, Santa pictures at Nordstrom and the holiday dinner at the fancy-pants restaurant in town. That would be fun if only my kids would act like they like each other for 5 minutes and I could get enough sleep to give me the energy to do all that. I’m tired just thinking about it. And don’t even get me started on how I feel in crowds of people.

I look around and I’m tempted to compare and compete. I’m tempted to want to try to do it all…the classroom parties, holiday events around town and don’t forget about volunteering at church…tis the season! It’s easy to look around at other people and only see what’s going on on the outside and if it looks good it must be good. And we feel inadequate.

In our striving for perfection, we beat ourselves down. At this time of year, our need for perfection is more prevalent than any other. We have many deadlines, obligations and other added stressors and in our desire to make the season wonderful for everyone else in our company, we sacrifice ourselves. We don’t get enough sleep. We decide that we can let our gym time go for the next several weeks - because, after all, something’s got to give. We don’t make time to plan our meals and make sure we have nourishing foods with us, so instead we settle for something quick and easy that’s not doing our body much good and only makes us feel worse. Sleep is a luxury we don’t have time for right now and so we keep ourselves going on copious amounts of coffee. We’re stopping at Starbucks at 4pm for a quad grande something-or-other just so we have the energy to make it to bedtime.

If there is one time of year when it’s important for us to take care of ourselves, this is it! The holiday season is taxing on everyone. When we lower our own expectation of ourselves, we don’t expect it from others either. We can choose to let ourselves off the hook and not do everything. Choose to do the things that truly matter to you and let the other things go. Remind yourself that self-sacrifice is not a gift to anybody - not to your loved ones and most definitely not to yourself!

That means you’ll need to schedule time for yourself. Maybe that’s an hour in the gym a few days a week, a quiet hour in a coffee shop with a book and [gasp] no technology or small people asking you for stuff, or a pedicure or massage. I hereby grant you permission to schedule some much-needed “you time” guilt-free! Also take a little time each week to make sure you’ve got healthy foods available for yourself. Your nutrition doesn’t have to be perfect, but when we sacrifice nutrients we usually end up feeling crappy. And sleep - please ladies, get some sleep. Go to bed earlier - you can fold that last load of laundry tomorrow, the dishes in the sink can wait. Your self care is priority here!

Think of how you want to feel come January 1st. Do you want to feel like your tank is empty? Or do you want to feel like the season nourished your soul, your spirit and your relationships? Do you want to have memories of quiet conversations and moments that matter? Or do you want to remember being so busy and stressed out that you are unable to recall any of the details?

The beauty of this season is that it can be whatever we choose to design it to be.

Thoughts on Fashion

Happy Monday!

Kendall + Kelsey here from The Radiant Life Blog and today we want to talk to you ladies about fashion.

"Fashion is not something that exists in dresses only. Fashion is in the sky, in the street, fashion has to do with ideas, the way we live, what is happening." - Coco Chanel

That is probably one of our favorite quotes about fashion. When we spent time overseas we actually missed fashion quite a bit and we can remember being so inspired by everything around us. While in Africa it was the bold patterns and mixed prints, in India it was the bright homes, in Thailand it was the thought that was put into the most beautifully designed restaurants, cafes, and coffee shops and it truly felt like we took that inspiration home with us.
We couldn't agree more with the how Coco Chanel describes fashion. To some, fashion can be thought of as maybe a little superficial and unimportant but to us it's something that is all around us just waiting to be noticed and ready to inspire those who do.
Be inspired today, mermaids!
xx,

{{Reveal}} Talking to Heaven Interactive Reading

Happy Monday Mermaids!! This week I decided to use the Talking to Heaven Mediumship Cards by Doreen Virtue and James Van Praagh to deliver your weekly motivational message from your loved ones in Heaven. Be sure to leave me a comment below with your feedback and if your message resonated with you! I'd love to hear it! <3

Card #1 Life is a Series of choices. Choose love.

"Love is the true nature of your soul. By making a choice from love instead of fear, you are saying yes to God. I remember in life when I would let other people's opinions of me define who I was. I was never good enough to be accepted. That was because I was living in fear. But now I know how much more powerful love is."

"By making the right choices, you welcome abundance into every aspect of your life, and I want nothing more than for you to be happy. So with every choice you make, stay true to your nature and choose love. Fear separates; love unites. From over here I will try to remind you to always attempt to see love in all you do; that way you can live a happier more fulfilling life while on Earth."

Card #2 Remember me by the happy memories we created.

"I can see you remembering me with heaviness in your heart, because you worry and grieve. These are normal, beautiful, and understandable emotions. ..and they are part of your healing. However, when the dust settles, I really wish you would focus upon our happy times instead of the sad ending."

"Keep my memory alive by thinking of me at our most joyful times. When something stirs a pleasant memory, talk to me about this, and know that I will hear you and share the sentimental moment with you."

Card #3 We have been together in dreams.

"When you are dreaming, I can more easily connect with you. That's why you've seen and felt my presence while you sleep. Sometimes you fully remember our dream connections, and other times you have a sense that we were together, without a clear memory."

"These experiences are very real! Your soul is traveling while you dream, and I meet you at a similar vibrational level, where we can talk, share, and heal together. These dream connections make me as happy as they do you. I'm also delighted to help you understand their meaning in our conversations."

If you enjoyed this interactive reading, meet me back here on the Nobella Grace Blog every Monday so I can help get your week set off in the right direction with each card picked with YOU in mind! :)

BUT first things first: NBG's Mermaid Medley!

Like a lot of you, I JUMPED at the chance to receive a coveted {{mermaid medley}}. I mean, 2 amazing hand-picked items for only $35 and free shipping...yes please! I knew these pieces would be AWESOME because they are picked by Kristi in the LA fashion district and she always picks unique, one-of-a-kind items that are PERFECT for me.

I waited anxiously for my package to arrive and was SO excited when it did (a day early! Thanks USPS)! I ripped open the package with all my might and was in AWE! Two beautiful pieces, just my size, and unlike anything I would typically pick for myself. Kristi knows me well...I tend to shop in my comfort zone and these two pieces took me beyond that...which I love her for.

When I got home, I tried them on and decided how to style them! I'm so excited to get the chance to share it with you all!

First up: A stunning evergreen Everly midi dress

This dress was OH SO SOFT and the perfect work appropriate length. The sleeves are long, but I pushed them up, because I'm more of a 3/4 length fan. The neckline is V, but not too low. It looks fabulous with a simple braided belt and comfy booties {clearance} from Target!

To add another dimension to my look, I grabbed my {{Marley Scarf}} that is oversized and super cozy and made it into a shawl. Shop all of Nobella Grace's scarves {{right here}}! I love that this piece hugs all of my curves and makes me feel beautiful. A wonderful "throw on and go" dress that will keep you looking chic and pulled together!

Next Up: A stunning animal print dress by Everly

So I'm not typically a huge animal print fan, but I was so excited to try this piece. I love Everly dresses for work and this one was super flattering. It looks adorable just paired with a pair of black booties.

To kick it up a notch, I added a black lace kimono that is {{vintage}} Nobella Grace. I think the Lulu and Lace Cardigan would be darling with this dress as well!

For my final look, I wanted to recreate something I had seen on Pinterest. Take a dress and add a sweater over top for a casual and extra cozy look. This one I call "rocker chic". I'm OBSESSED and can't wait to rock this look when it cools off a bit! I added the Ella sweater in black, but it is still available in oatmeal {{shop here}}.

Thanks for checking out my exclusive {{mermaid medley}} ensembles! Can't wait to see what ya'll got in yours!

Until Next Time,
Jenna
