BUY this, NOT that!

Hi NBG Fashionistas! It's Tuesday once again...which means "Tuesday Tips with Jenna"! For those of you that follow me on Instagram, you know that I LOVE to shop! What you may not know is that I am quite the bargain shopper. I love finding good deals! Before finding Nobella Grace, I would shop around and end up at places like Nordstrom Rack, TJ Maxx, and Ross. They always had the best deals and I hate paying full price! Once I found Nobella Grace, I stopped shopping at stores and just supported this fabulous online boutique. Kristi, the owner of Nobella Grace, is amazing at finding items that can be found at high end stores such as Anthropologie, Urban Outfitters, Zara, Free People, etc. Nobella Grace also has GREAT prices, frequent sales, and a wonderful loyalty program. Moral of the story: STOP wasting your money at "big box" stores! Shop online with Nobella Grace! When you do, you are supporting a small business and saving TONS of money in the process!

For this week's post, I decided to look around at larger retail stores for items that Nobella Grace carries online. I was astounded at the fact that I found similar or even the same items that Nobella Grace carries at much higher prices when it came to the large retail stores. See for yourself!

Bohemian Maxi Dress- ONLY $44 ((BUY THIS!))

Bethany Dress- $158 ((NOT THAT))

This is the exact same dress, by the same designer! You could buy almost FOUR Bohemian maxi dresses from Nobella Grace, for the price of one Bethany Dress! This dress is perfect for fall and winter! Gorgeous, rich colors and such a flattering fit! Add a cardi or jean jacket and you are set!

Embroidered Tunic- ONLY $32 ((BUY THIS!))

Embroidered Tunic- $59.90 ((NOT that))

The Embroidered Tunic from Nobella Grace has the same detail in the neckline and cuffs as this look alike tunic from an upscale boutique but is half the price! I love how light this tunic is! Looks great with a pair of jeans and mules! Add a cardigan in the cooler months to keep yourself warm.

Taylor Crochet Vest- ONLY $28 ((BUY THIS!))

Elsa Long Lace Vest- $98 ((NOT that!))

The Taylor Crochet Vest is one of my favorite items that I've purchased from Nobella Grace. It creates long lines and goes with just about anything. The look alike vest from a popular retailer is also cute, but the price tag ISN'T!

Boho Kimono Cardi- ONLY $39 ((BUY THIS!))

Turkish Paisley-Print Fringe Kimono- $138 ((NOT that!))

The Boho Kimono Cardi is such a unique piece that Nobella Grace carries. I added dark wash jeans, a black tank, and some wedges to complete the look. I've also worn this cardi with a black jumpsuit. It's very versatile! I found this kimono from a large upscale department store that looks very similar, but the price tag is outrageous!

Look lovely for LESS, shop Nobella Grace!

Celebrate Your Shape!!

Hello lovelies, Kara here! I will be guest blogging here on the Nobella Grace Blog every Monday from now until Kristi gets tired of me, so stick around and this little fashionista might be able to teach you a thing or two ;) I wanted my very first post to be a special one, of course, and I wanted to make sure to write about something interesting (to make sure you keep on coming back). I thought long and hard until it finally dawned on me “why not write about what most of my fellow females struggle with on the day to day!” If you tend to ask yourself questions like; “will this look good on me?” or make statements like “I don’t think I can pull that off.” then you will benefit greatly from what I’m about to share with you.  I’m going to help you figure out what your body shape is and then give you tips on how to glorify your shape with the right styles!
The 4 most common body shapes are the Banana (Rectangle), Apple, Pear, and the Hourglass. Yes, I realize there are more than just these 4 and that everyone is uniquely shaped and isn’t going to fit within these categories, but this will at least give you a great starting point! To figure out what your body shape is, click here: Body Type Calculator
First up is the Banana (Rectangle):

(This is my body type) This body type is pretty much proportioned evenly when it comes to waist, hips, and shoulders. The key to dressing this shape is to add dimension to your torso and to also create the illusion of curves. This is the easiest body type to dress because basically you can pretty much get away with wearing just about anything! Lucky you!! Here are some pieces that I recommend for you from Nobella Grace à

The Maddison Maxi - $34
Purchase here: Maddison Maxi Dress

The Carrie Dress - $38
Purchase here:  Carrie Dress~Peach

The Kate Dress - $36

Next up is the Apple:

If you have an apple-shaped body, then your body is "top heavy," meaning you have a wide torso, broad shoulders, and a full bust, waist, and upper back. Apple-shaped bodied women also tend to have thinner arms, legs, and hips, and tend to gain weight at their waistlines. If you have an apple shaped-body, then you should be proud of your full figure and get ready to flaunt it. To dress your apple-shaped body, you'll want to take attention away from your middle, since it's already full and also accentuate your bust! Yep you heard me, accentuate the ladies! Check out these great pieces for your shape from Nobella Grace à

The Ombre’ Dress - $14
Purchase here: Ombre' Dress
The Coral Crochet Dress - $39
Purchase here:  Coral Crochet Dress
The Aphrodite Maxi Dress - $44
Purchase here: Aphrodite Maxi Dress

Next up is the Pear:

Curvy hips, thick thighs, and a full rear are the key characteristics of the pear-shaped woman. Many pear shapes also have a small bust, narrow shoulders, and defined waist. Keep your proportions in check by drawing the eye to your upper body while de-emphasizing your lower half. Choose tops in bright colors and prints and stick to dark colors on your bottom for a slimming effect and won’t draw attention to your hips. Here are some really great pieces from Nobella Grace that would do the trick for you à

The Cloey Kimono Cardi - $34
Purchase here: Cloey Kimono Cardi

The Venice Shorts - $18
Purchase here: Venice Shorts

The Ocean Beach Top - $29
Purchase here: Ocean Beach Top

Last but certainly not least is the Hourglass:

The hourglass figure is considered the ideal body type by many women. For women with this body type, the bust and hip are approximately the same size, and the waist is narrow. This gives you a set of sexy, killer curves. When dressing your hourglass figure, look for styles and fabrics that reduce bulk and prevent boxiness. Also, look for pieces that draw attention to your narrow waist. These pieces from Nobella Grace would be perfect à
The Raspberry Sorbet Skirt - $22
Purchase here: Raspberry Sorbet Skirt

The Peaches and Cream Sweater - $32

The Black Lace & Fringe Kimono Cardi - $32

Many women do not fit perfectly within one body shape. For example, you may have the bust and hips of a pear shape, with a slightly bigger stomach than a strict pear shape has. Be prepared for little variations like these and adjust your style needs appropriately. Also note that changes later in life, such as having children, can change your body shape in the future. The
most important key to making your shape look great is to love yourself for who you are and remember that anyone can look good - it's just how you look at them.

XOXO, Karabears

Maxi Dress Madness!

Wearing the Tie Dye Maxi from Nobella Grace- $34 ((SHOP HERE))

Hello Nobella Grace Fashionistas! I don't know about you all, but I have a serious case of "Maxi Dress Madness"! I'm obsessed with maxi dresses! They take over more than half of my closet and I catch myself wearing them more than any other clothing item I own. It may be because I have a 2.5 year old to chase after...or the fact that I love looking put together, but comfortable at the same time. Who knows?!? The fact is, I wear a lot of my favorite maxi dresses to death. I get bored of just wearing a maxi dress by itself, so I like to pair my maxi dresses with some other closet favorites!

The Chambray Top
I love adding a chambray top if I'm heading to lunch with some friends and want to look more casual. I tie it to create definition at my natural waist line. Throw on some sandals, a simple pendant necklace, and some bracelets and you are ready to be a lady who lunches!

The Jean Jacket
Heading to a country concert? Add a jean jacket and a long pendant necklace, like the Cassandra Necklace. Roll the sleeves up, leave your hair down, and get ready to have some fun!

The Soft Cardigan
Wearing the Shrugged Cardi from Nobella Grace- $26 ((SHOP HERE))

Feeling chilly or more modest? Add a soft cardigan and a statement necklace, like the Aztec Warrior. Pin your hair back in a messy bun and add some flats to finish the look.

The Chic Blazer
Heading off to a day at the office? Add a blazer in a bold color to add some pizzazz to your look! Opt for flats or heels! Put on a fun statement necklace and some bracelets too! I'm wearing the Electric Droplets necklace with some Glam Candy bracelets.

Don't forget! If you are petite, you can wear maxi dresses too! If they are too long, just knot the bottom of the dress to the side. It looks so cute and you can replicate any of the looks above too!

Thanks for sharing in my maxi madness! Leave me some love below: what's your favorite maxi madness look?

Until Next Time

Jenna

Where did she get those shoes?

We get asked a lot "Where did your Model get her shoe's from?". Well Mermaids the answer is Target! Most of the ankle boots she wears are from Target and under $40! We love a great bargain and a great shoe. As fall is fastly approaching we have noticed Target is starting to bring out more ankle boots. Ankle boots are great with nearly anything (dresses, rompers, skinny jeans with cardi's, leggings, you name it). Here are two of our personal favorite Ankle boots that Target just came out with!

Here's a link to all the Target Ankle Boots on their website! Right now they are advertising a BOGO 50% on shoes right now. So many cute pairs to choose from that would look great with any of your Nobellagrace pieces! - NBG Team

Statement Pieces: Bold Blouses

Everywhere you look, statement pieces are making quite an appearance! From patterned leggings to jeweled necklaces...colorful bags to one-of-a-kind heels. My favorite type of statement piece is the bold blouse. Bold blouses may have intricate embroidery, a fun pattern, or distinctive stripes. I have found three bold blouses that Nobella Grace carries that have these attributes. I will show you how important it is to let the bold blouse speak for itself while keeping the other clothing items/accessories simple.

1. Bold Embroidery
Goddess Top $38 ((SHOP HERE))

This top has the most beautiful embroidery that really makes it stand out! An easy breezy top that's perfect for all seasons. Wear it now with denim shorts and sandals or transition into fall and winter with skinny jeans and boots. I kept the accessories minimal to let the top be the main focus. I added gold jeweled bangles from Metal Marvels and a simple initial necklace.

2. Bold Pattern
Ocean Beach Top $29 ((SHOP HERE))

I love the name of this top! It reminds me of the ocean with it's gorgeous blue, turquoise, and silver design. This top has such a bold pattern and it looks fabulous with some white skinny jeans and sandals to match. Again, I kept the jewelry fairly simple with a silver turquoise strand necklace that I knotted and matching turquoise drop earrings.

3. Bold Stripes
Paint Me Fuchsia $24 ((SHOP HERE))

Stripes are one of my favorite patterns to wear. This top is no exception! It has distinctive bold stripes in navy and fuchsia that make this top easy to pair with so much! I added dark wash skinny jeans, grey riding boots, and zig zag bangles. This top will be perfect for fall and winter with it's three-quarter length sleeves. Just add a cardigan when it cools off!

Shrug It Off Cardi $28 ((SHOP HERE))

Now that you have seen some of my favorite bold blouses, what is YOUR favorite combo? Leave a comment below!

Until Next Time

My Bella Box Experience

First let me introduce myself, I'm Ashley Hughes. I've been a Happy Customer of Nobellagrace since I found Kristi on Instagram last December. I absolutely love the Boho chic style that Nobellagrace offers. A few months ago they started a styling service - The Bella Box! I was intrigued but I also wasn't sure about having someone pick out clothes for me. I find myself to be a bit picky. How would they know what I wanted? How would they know what I didn't like? All the questions I kept thinking and I kept passing on the service.

Month after Month I saw the awesome Bella Boxes that gals were getting and I wondered why I hadn't taken the plunge. I finally decided to ask the questions I had been wondering. So how do they know what I want? The answer to that is simple, I fill out a survey. The survey goes into details. Like what kind of patterns I liked and which I disliked. I also was asked which features I like to show off and which I'd rather keep covered. After filling out my survey I was super excited to see what I would get in my Bella Box!

I patiently or not so patiently waited for my Bella Box to arrive. Waiting for my Bella Box was like waiting for Christmas morning. I was so excited when I opened my mailbox to see it waiting for me this week. It was everything I hoped for, It was awesome! I ordered the El Grande Bella Box which comes in an awesome Nobellagrace Tote bag. Which I plan to use all the time! Everything comes wrapped inside your Bella Box and even had a sweet hand written card from Kristi! Here's my Bella Box...

The first piece I opened was this Everly lace dress! It's so beautiful and the perfect length for me! I told Kristi in my survey that I wanted some Lace! I got it!!

The next piece I opened was this gorgeous open shoulder spaghetti strap embroidered dress! This piece is so colorful and unique. I honestly haven't seen anything like it. I love it!

My next piece I recognize because it's a dress I wanted but missed out on during a Flash sale. Kristi went looking for another one for me. Totally made this Bella Box even better. My husband said it was his favorite since it has the colors of the Carolina Panthers.

My last piece just steals the show! It's a gorgeous white lace embroidered Everly Tunic dress. It left me speechless! It's a perfect fit and I can't wait to wear it on a date night with my husband soon.

I am so impressed with my Bella Box. Seriously why didn't I do this sooner? Having them shop for me was so much better than I ever imagined. I see more Bella Boxes in my future! If you've been wanting to try a Bella Box then I have a surprise for you!! Use Code BellaBox10 for 10% off your Bella Box order! - Ashley

Fall Color Trends 2014

Here at Nobella Grace we are in love with Fall, the clothes, the crisp air, football, friends and of course the boots.  Pantone has forecasted (with the help of some big name designers) a palate of colors that are sure to be on point.  We love that Radiant Orchid has continued through the Spring and into the Fall.  We also are welcoming rich colors like Aurora Red, Royal Blue and Cognac.
