{{Spring Cleaning}}

Hi Mermaids!
Spring is just around the corner and I don't know about you, but I DEFINITELY need to start some {{Spring Cleaning}}!
Now I'm not talking about the boring cleaning--dusting, vacuuming, laundry, etc.
I'm talking about the FUN cleaning...organizing and revamping your closet!
I will share my tips and tricks to get everything in your closet organized and in line...just in time for the spring blooms!

1. Make your closet a chic boutique:
Wouldn't you LOVE if Nobella Grace was your ENTIRE closet? I know I would! Imagine your closet as your favorite boutique and add fun details and colors to make it all yours! Maybe a cute print right by the closet door? Or colorful wooden letters of your initals? Or organizational bins in a fun print? Make your closet a fun, fashionable place where you like to be!

2. Play HOT or NOT:
Go through each item, keep what is HOT (items you LOVE) and eliminate what is NOT (items that you never wear or no longer flatter your body). While you do this, keep a list of items you feel you need to add to your closet (colors you're missing, patterns you wish you had, or staple pieces that you need)

3. Group similar items together:
I like to group my clothing items by type, but some people prefer color! It's totally up to you! Here's how my closet looks:
From left to right I have: Skinny strap tops, tank tops, short sleeve tops, 3/4 length tops, kimonos, and long sleeve tops. Next, I have shorts, skirts, maxi skirts, skinny strap dresses, tank dresses, short sleeve dresses, and long sleeve dresses. Then I have cardigans, sweaters, and jackets. I keep my pants and jeans in a dresser drawer.
It's so easy finding out what the weather is and then being able to choose what I am going to wear from the section of my choice. I also try to rotate my items in the group. So basically, after I wear and wash something, I put it in the back of the section, so the items that I haven't worn are at the front of the section for next time.

4.  Organization is an ongoing process:
You are not going to become organized in one day! It takes time and work to figure out what works for you, your closet, and your style. Keep trying and please leave any questions that you may have below!

All About That {{Lace}}

Hi Nobella Grace Mermaids!
So happy to be back once again on the Nobella Grace blog!
If y'all follow me on Instagram, I'm sure you already know how {{lace obsessed}} I am! I mean my ENTIRE last order from NBG was filled with lace on lace on lace. I can't get enough of it! Here is a peek into my current wardrobe and how I style all things {{lace}}! Enjoy!

Bianca Tunic Dress- ((SHOP HERE))
Paired with black leggings, grey boots, and grey cardigan.

This outfit is tried and true...and preschool approved! I actually just wore this outfit to school today! All of the kiddos LOVED the lace, especially the little ones :)
I love the nautical feel of this tunic and how easily it pairs with leggings (which I consider pants ;))
Add a cardigan and boots to make it "work appropriate"!

Hadley Top
Paired with Denim Skinnies, nude flats, and Jewel Tone Bangles from Metal Marvels

This top features not only lace, but a Spring 2015 color trend: classic blue! I'm not normally a "blue" person, but I was so drawn to this top. I love the slight hi low hem and how fabulously it pairs with denim skinnies and my new favorite flats!

Peaches and Lace Top- ((SHOP HERE))
Also available in Curvy- ((SHOP HERE))
Paired with Denim Skinnies, nude flats, and Jewel Tone Bangles from Metal Marvels

I LOVE the color peach and the lace detailing on this top! It has 3/4 sleeves which makes it perfect to transition into spring! It is available in contemporary AND curvy sizes, which is a huge PLUS!! Add your favorite denim and flats to complete this look!

{{All I Want For Christmas}}

Hi Nobella Grace Dolls!
I'm sure we have all heard that song "All I Want For Christmas is You". I can't help, but hum that tune as I write this post! In all reality though, all I want for Christmas is a long list of Nobella Grace items! I wanted to share with you all my Christmas list that I have created of my favorite items from the Nobella Grace website! I'm hoping these beauties are wrapped up under my Christmas tree!

Jacket:
Hooded Cargo Jacket in Mocha: ((SHOP HERE))
Also available in Navy: ((SHOP HERE))

This jacket is gorgeous! I love the mocha color, coral embrodiery, and pull tab sleeves. I imagine myself wearing it with the new Distressed Denim Boyfriend Jeans and boots for a day out with friends! How versatile is this jacket? It will pair with everything! It's a must have for sure!

Sweater:
Boho Beauty Top: ((SHOP HERE))

This pretty top has been on my wish list for a while! I love that it is sweater material and similar to a sweatshirt. Casual items are always what I am reaching for in my closet, so this would be perfect for me! The detail on the pocket and back of this sweater is AMAZING. It really makes the item stand out among the rest! Very unique!

Tops:
Blythe Top: ((SHOP HERE))

The Blythe Top has such gorgeous fall colors. I love rust and evergreen paired together. It would look absolutely precious with the Lively Cardi in green and the Denim Skinnies! Add some cognac boots, a faux leather bomber jacket, and you are ready for a family day out!

Jeans:
Distressed Denim Boyfriend Jeans ((SHOP HERE))

I live in jeans. Especially the Destroyed Denim Jeans and Denim Skinnies from Nobella Grace. They are some of the ONLY jeans that fit me properly. I'm super excited Kristi debuted these beauties! Boyfriend jeans are casual, but can also be dressed up!

Scarf:
Blanket Scarf: ((SHOP HERE))

Blanket scarves are my newest obsession. They are so warm, cozy, and go with so much! This blanket scarf is like 2-in-1! Houndstooth on one side and plaid on the other! I love it paired with a faux leather jacket and patterned leggings! So cute and fun!

Dress:
Poppy Plaid Shirt Dress: ((SHOP HERE))

Midi dresses are my favorite dresses for two reasons: 1. They are classy. 2. They don't make me nervous. As a mom of 1 and caretaker of 5 children, I'm always worried about the length of the items I wear. Whenever I wear dresses, I always pair them with leggings for fear they are too short (and I am too tall!). I could wear this dress with no leggings at all or add tights or leggings on a chilly day! This dress needs to be wrapped up pretty with a bow for me!

Which Items are on YOUR {{Nobella Grace Christmas List}}? Leave me a comment below to let me know!

NBG + MM = Perfection

Happy Tuesday Nobella Grace Mermaids! I'm so excited to feature my two FAVORITE shops in one post today! As many of you know, Nobella Grace and Metal Marvels go together like peas and carrots...peanut butter and jelly...Romy and Michele...the list goes on and on! Nobella Grace offers fabulous clothing and Metal Marvels helps you accessorize Nobella Grace's wonderful pieces with beautiful and budget friendly jewelry! Any time I reach for a Nobella Grace piece to wear, I know that I will be able to find the perfect Metal Marvels accessory to accompany it!

Paris Pocket Tee
Destroyed Denim Jeans ((SHOP HERE))

Hollow Clover Pendant ((SHOP HERE))
Clover Wire Bangle in Silver/Turquoise ((SHOP HERE))
Born to be Famous Bracelet ((SHOP HERE))

The Paris Pocket Tee with the Destroyed Denim Jeans are a match made in heaven! They are both super soft and high quality pieces that you will want to wear over and over again! I added some fun motorcycle boots to create an edgy, laid back look! I love the Clover Collection from Metal Marvels...two of my favorite pieces from that collection are the Hollow Clover Pendant and the Clover Wire Bangle. They look fabulous paired with the Born to be Famous Bracelet. A versatile bracelet that will match with so much!

Drew Dress ((SHOP HERE))

Jewel Tone Bangles in Light Blue, Pink, and Aqua ((SHOP HERE))

The Drew Dress has the most GORGEOUS beading and embroidery on the neckline. The cinched waist creates a beautiful hour glass shape and I love the modest hemline. Since the neckline is so intricate, I skipped the necklace and added fun Jewel Tone Bangles instead. I wanted to bring out the colors of the dress, so I chose light blue, pink, and aqua! Black flats helped finish off the look! This styled look is so easy breezy, but super chic as well!

Lace and Grace Sweater in Grey ((SHOP IVORY HERE))
Denim Skinnies ((SHOP HERE))

Beaded Bib Necklace in Turquoise ((SHOP HERE))

The Lace and Grace Sweater in Grey was SO popular, it sold out in the first day! Don't worry though, Ivory is still available! If you don't have this sweater yet, you need it! It is so soft and even more gorgeous in person! I love the lacy layers and frills on the bottom. The high waisted denim skinnies from NBG are the perfect bottoms to accompany this sweater. I wanted to add a pop of color, so I accessorized with the Beaded Bib Necklace in Turquoise. Talk about a jaw dropper...this necklace looks SUPER expensive, but with the price tag of only $21, it won't break the bank! I wear it often! Grey riding boots completed the look! This outfit will have you ready for some cooler weather!

Rachel Cardi ((SHOP HERE))
Denim Skinnies ((SHOP HERE))

Fluid Beauty Headband in Peach ((SHOP HERE))
Wire Wrapped Necklace in Peach ((SHOP HERE))

Last, but certainly NOT least, the Rachel Cardi...ahhhhh, this cardi is pure awesomeness. The tones of grey with the POP of neon coral makes it out of this world! I added my favorite denim skinnies and some grey riding boots. I wanted to bring out the coral/peach color in the cardi, so I accessorized with the Fluid Beauty Headband in Peach and the Wire Wrapped Necklace also in Peach. This headband is beyond cool! It is velvet lined and doesn't slip! Now let's discuss the necklace, gorgeous quality and such a pretty color! It also comes in turquoise and mint!

Well ladies, I could go on all day with the looks I have created with Nobella Grace and Metal Marvels pieces, but I want to hear from YOU! What fabulous {{Peas + Carrots}} looks have YOU worn? I would LOVE to hear all about them! Leave a comment below!

{{Pinterest}} Inspired Looks!

Hi NBG Darlings! It's me, Jenna, to discuss Pinterest inspired looks. I don't know about you all, but I love Pinterest. It's slightly addicting, but I've found some amazing ideas from it. Whether it be for the home, for my son, crafting...or even fashion! I would say out of all of my boards on Pinterest, my "fashionista" board is the largest. As most of you know, I love fashion and putting together fun looks. These looks that I created below, come straight from Pinterest and some fabulous bloggers who let me "borrow" these looks. The twist is that I used Nobella Grace items to create my looks! Take a peek! Hope you enjoy!

Sugar Magnolia Maxi Dress ((SHOP HERE))

This maxi dress is even MORE gorgeous in person. Beautiful fit, intricate embroidery, and can be transitioned into fall and winter! I added a braided belt, colorful bracelets, and jean jacket along with cognac sandals and bag to match. I love this effortless and flawless look! Perfect for a day out running errands or even a laid back date night!

Shrugged Off Cardi in Black
Striped Pocket Tunic
Denim Skinnies ((SHOP HERE))

This striped tunic is the softest shirt ever! I added the Shrugged Off Cardi in black to transition this look into the later months. The Denim Skinnies were the perfect addition. They are high waisted, super stretchy, and AMAZING quality! Booties and some accessories finished off the look. This outfit is fabulous for a day around town with friends or when grabbing a movie! The ultimate comfortable outfit!

Boho Military Tunic ((SHOP HERE))

When I first received this tunic, I didn't know how to style it. I looked it up on Pinterest and found this FABULOUS look! I added a rose tunic dress, that Nobella Grace used to carry, some black zipper leggings, and booties. I also grabbed my favorite Marc Jacobs purse and Coach sunnies! This outfit makes me want to go out and explore! I love it!

Fall Favorites!

Hi Nobella Grace Mermaids! Jenna here, to discuss my favorite season of all: Fall! Between the cool air, the leaves changing, pumpkin EVERYTHING, and the super cute clothes and boots, I'm in LOVE! I have composed a list of some of my {{Fall Favorites}} when it comes to fashion that should definitely be in YOUR closet to start the season off right!

1. Patterned Leggings
These are hands down my favorite leggings ever. So soft, great color (mint is my favorite!), and effortless. Patterned leggings are very "in" for fall and winter which is a major plus, but they are also comfy to boot (SCORE!!) Unfortunately, Nobella Grace no longer has these in stock, but shop some other great options here: ((Aztec Leggings)) , ((Tie Dye Leggings)) , and ((Zig Zag Leggings)). They are all super cute and look great with a basic tunic or oversized sweatshirt! Add flats now and boots later when the weather cools down.

2. Basic Tunic
Back to Basics Tunic in Black ((SHOP HERE))

Tunics are essential to have in your closet, because you can pair them with so much. Leggings, skinny jeans, a maxi skirt, the options are endless! I paired the Back to Basics Tunic in black with my favorite pair of skinny jeans and some houndstooth black toe flats. I added a statement necklace to complete the look. When the weather cools off as fall progresses, I can add boots with some cute boot socks to match and a cardi. Basic tunics like this are really a necessity to have, especially in neutral colors like black, white, grey, cream, etc. Add one or more to your closet today!

3. Beautiful Blouse
Belle Top ((SHOP HERE))

I love a patterned blouse. They are so fun because they make a statement all on their own. This top also happens to be my favorite print: paisley! A fun, patterned blouse is a must have for fall, because it's the type of top that can be worn to work, on a date, or even a night on the town. It can be dressed up or down for any and all occasions! This top also has fun cutouts on the front and back of the blouse with great bell sleeves.  I added skinny jeans and booties for this look, but you can dress it up with a blazer and heels for a special occasion.

4. Cozy Cardi
Fall For It Cardi ((SHOP HERE))

You can't have fall without a cozy cardi! The Fall For It Cardi is so soft and super cozy! This beauty is my favorite because of the fun design and colors. Perfect for fall with cream, navy, and orange. It will go with so much and has a fabulous fit as well! Add some jeans and booties to complete the look.
