Hello Mermaids!

My name is Erica, wife to Warren, homeschooling mama to 6 year old twin girls, and baby girl turns two next week. Hold me now.

Kristi has invited me to blog for her. I have to admit, it's a little terrifying. I am very new to fashion, so I wasn't sure what I had to bring to this fabulous community of women...but then it clicked! We are a community of women, and my posts don't necessarily need to have fashion tips to be useful.

In August of last year I had decided to delete my Facebook, for various reasons, I have never been happier. I started using my Instagram solely, and I'm SO glad I did. I stumbled across Nobella Grace, and I haven't looked back. I not only LOVE the clothes they have to offer, but I have "met" so many wonderful and encouraging women.

It was simply amazing. Women supporting women? Who knew? I had never really experienced anything like it before. It was so encouraging!

 To be quite honest, finding Nobella Grace, and stepping away from Facebook, was the beginning of me finding myself. I have always stayed very much in my comfort zone, in all areas of my life. I did not really ever wear dresses, bold prints, and everything in my closet was "safe." Nobella Grace has helped me step off the ledge a bit. It has been so much fun!

I wanted to share a few of my favorite past Nobella Grace selfies!

Until next time.....

{{Preschool Chic}}

Happy Tuesday Nobella Grace Mermaids!
I am so excited to share this week's post with you, because it is a little more personal than normal. Right before the new year started, I got a job offer as the lead pre-k teacher at a premiere preschool! I gladly accepted! I was over the moon for this new opportunity and the fact that not only would I be able to teach at this school, but my son would be able to attend there as well. It was the perfect news for our family to receive and definitely started us off in the right direction for 2015.

Yesterday, I had my first day of training and what better way to celebrate a new job than to do some outfit planning! For all of those who are laughing right now, give this girl a break. For the past 2.5 years I have stayed home with my son and taken care of 5 children. My normal "work" wardrobe consisted of yoga pants and sweatshirts. I was super excited to be able to dress in normal clothes each and every day! YAY!!

First up, I wore this outfit to the ribbon cutting ceremeony. I wanted to "dress to impress". I paired a plaid Everly dress with black leggings and black flats. I accessorized with Kate Spade bangles, ring, and earrings. This look is super simple and chic. Here's another dress I'm currently coveting ((SHOP HERE))! I can totally see myself wearing this to my new job with some leggings, a cardi, and boots while it's still cooler!

Next, I am OBSESSED with how soft this sweater is. If you havent grabbed the Heather Sweater yet, now is your chance. This amazing piece will go with EVERYTHING! I paired it with my favorite pair of jeans from Nobella Grace (the Denim Skinnies). Since this sweater is a neutral, it would also go with brown dress pants or a maxi skirt. The cowl neck and button detail on this sweater adds to it's natural charm. It's a must have for sure!

Last, but certainly not least, here's what I wore to my interview. Of course I had to rock my good luck charm (Nobella Grace ;))! I paired the Shana top with black dress pants from Banana Republic Outlet and black patent wedged heels from Ross. I love the simplistic cut outs on this top. It adds so much dimension and really makes this "normal" top so unique. Another work appropriate top is linked right here ((Sloan Top)). It's always nice to have a blouse that goes well with a simple pair of dress pants in your closet at all times.

I can't wait to create more {{Preschool Chic}} looks using Nobella Grace! What would YOU love to see next? Leave me a comment below and let me know!

Until Next Time

{{My Favorite Denim}}

Hi Nobella Grace Dolls!
I hope you all had a fantastic Christmas and are gearing up for a fun new year!
I'm excited to be back with you all and sharing my FAVORITE denim of 2014!
These jeans are so OUT OF THIS WORLD awesome that they will be accompanying me into 2015 as well!
Since we all know I'm a shopaholic, it goes without saying that I am also ADDICTED to fabulous denim.
I have tried EVERY premium denim out there and NONE compare to the amazing Destroyed Denim Jeans offered by Nobella Grace.
I always thought that the more expensive jeans were, the better the quality.
I would spend $100-$200 on jeans. It was insane!
These jeans are actually BETTER quality than what I was wearing and at ONLY $42, they are a STEAL!
Not only do they have a GREAT price, but they fit wonderfully.
Great stretch, perfect length, tasteful destroyed look, and versatile in terms of how to style them!
Check out my FAVORITE ways to wear these beauties (PS I may wear them multiple times a week...don't judge ;))

Casual + Cute
This look is PERFECT for a day out and about when you want to look pulled together, but laid back at the same time! Grab the amazing destroyed denim jeans, add a screen tee, a comfy hoodie, and some boots. Very easy, but a fun twist on a classic look! You will look super cute and comfy while tackling all your errands on that to-do list!

Dinner Date
These jeans can honestly transition from day to night without a problem. Need a fun dinner date outfit? Here you go! Take your destroyed denim jeans, add a military inspired jacket ((SIMILAR HERE)) + ((HERE)) with a plain tee underneath ((SIMILAR HERE)). Throw on your favorite booties to add some height and sassiness to your look. You will be ready to jet and enjoy your evening!

Party Hardy
So you are invited to a fun party and don't want to show up too under or over dressed. Need a solution? Grab the destroyed denim and add a vest to create a super chic look. I'm ALL about vests this season! Here's a great option for you to try ((SHOP HERE)). Pair it with a striped tunic to add a pattern and more dimension to your look ((OPTION HERE)). I added my favorite peep toe mules to stylize this outfit, but any pair of awesome heels will do!
You will be the princess of the party while looking super hot too!

Which way do YOU wear your {{Detroyed Denim}}? Leave me a comment to fill me in!

Until Next Time

{{Black Friday Sneak Peek}}

Hi Beautiful NBG Mermaids! Do you know what the day after Thanksgiving is? That's right! Black Friday! Who's excited to shop Nobella Grace's HUGE sale? I hope you are ALL raising your hands, because I know I am! I heard there's going to be a HUGE discount along with GORGEOUS clothes to fill your closet for the rest of the holiday season! Hold on tight, because I am about to reveal some of the MUST HAVE pieces that will be available starting on Friday!

First up, this fabulous three-quarter sleeve tunic dress. I can't even tell you my reaction when I received it...I was in awe! This dress has my name written all over it! I love the black and taupe abstract pattern and the shoulders of delicate lace make this piece so beautiful and feminine. I added black leggings ((SHOP HERE)) and black buckle booties. Simple accessories are a must, because this dress is sure to steal the show!

I don't know about you all, but I will never get tired of a fun and colorful chevron print. This flirty oversized sweater cardigan is a piece you will put on and just smile. It has gorgeous fall and winter colors, but also can easily transition into the spring. This item is flexible in sizing and would even look darling with a belt to cinch the waistline. I added the ever popular destroyed denim jeans ((SHOP HERE)), a black tank underneath, and black motorcycle boots. This outfit will get you compliments over and over again.

Last, but certainly not least...this red, black, and emerald aztec print mini dress. WOW is all that I can say. When I first received it, I was nervous. I had never worn a dress this form fitting before, but once I put it on, I was so impressed! Kristi does not disappoint when she picks out items. She picks items she knows you will love and feel amazing in. This dress does just that! It hugs all the right curves! It is super soft and a stretchy knit fabric. I added black leggings ((SHOP HERE)) and booties for this look as well as my favorite Jewel Tones and Glam Punk Bracelet from Metal Marvels! I can DEFINITELY see this look in my date night outfit rotation! It is sure to impress!

{{Pinterest}} Inspired Looks!

Hi NBG Darlings! It's me, Jenna, to discuss Pinterest inspired looks. I don't know about you all, but I love Pinterest. It's slightly addicting, but I've found some amazing ideas from it. Whether it be for the home, for my son, crafting...or even fashion! I would say out of all of my boards on Pinterest, my "fashionista" board is the largest. As most of you know, I love fashion and putting together fun looks. These looks that I created below, come straight from Pinterest and some fabulous bloggers who let me "borrow" these looks. The twist is that I used Nobella Grace items to create my looks! Take a peek! Hope you enjoy!

Sugar Magnolia Maxi Dress ((SHOP HERE))

This maxi dress is even MORE gorgeous in person. Beautiful fit, intricate embroidery, and can be transitioned into fall and winter! I added a braided belt, colorful bracelets, and jean jacket along with cognac sandals and bag to match. I love this effortless and flawless look! Perfect for a day out running errands or even a laid back date night!

Shrugged Off Cardi in Black
Striped Pocket Tunic
Denim Skinnies ((SHOP HERE))

This striped tunic is the softest shirt ever! I added the Shrugged Off Cardi in black to transition this look into the later months. The Denim Skinnies were the perfect addition. They are high waisted, super stretchy, and AMAZING quality! Booties and some accessories finished off the look. This outfit is fabulous for a day around town with friends or when grabbing a movie! The ultimate comfortable outfit!

Boho Military Tunic ((SHOP HERE))

When I first received this tunic, I didn't know how to style it. I looked it up on Pinterest and found this FABULOUS look! I added a rose tunic dress, that Nobella Grace used to carry, some black zipper leggings, and booties. I also grabbed my favorite Marc Jacobs purse and Coach sunnies! This outfit makes me want to go out and explore! I love it!
