Karabears Fall 2014 Mini Look Book

I'm a tad bit late on posting this week but I promise it was for a good reason! I was in the process of compiling my favorite fall outfits to create my own mini look book to share with y'all! Now, I don't know about you, but I thoroughly enjoy looking back through old pics to see how the trends have changed, to gain inspiration from my past styles, or just to laugh at myself for lack thereof! So I hope y'all enjoy my personal favorite outfits for fall 2014 featuring none other than Nobella Grace :)

 

First up is my go to outfit for fall; a comfy cardi & tee! This look is the easiest to achieve and ANYONE can pull this off with no problem! Just grab any old cardi and a tee (My favorites are the Nyla & Fringe Benefits Cardi's from Nobella Grace) & BOOM! You're effortlessly chic & put together!

 This next look of mine is a 2 in 1...This outfit covers two popular trends from this fall; military khaki and pattern mixing! This one can be a bit tricky to pull off & believe me...I've crashed & burned A LOT trying to pull this off because it's either a hit or miss...but this my friends is definitely a hit :)

I'm wearing the NBG, Boho Military Tunic (which can be purchased HERE for just $36) & Athena Dress, which the majority of you have in your closest already from the summer collection!  



This next one needs no introduction...FUR. Need I say more? Fur is HUGE this year and showed up on nearly every single runway! I know that I have seen it everywhere lately and also in a ton of color options!! However, I'm more of a neutral kind of girl so my favorite fur piece for fall is this NBG, Jet Faux Fur Vest (get it HERE for just $44) paired with the Glitter Tee!

And last but certainly not least, my FAVORITE look for this fall is a cozy sweater!! Thick-knit sweaters are huge this fall and ruffles are always darling so of course my favorite sweater this fall is this beauty (The Sweet Layers Tunic from NBG)

{{Neutral Make Up Tutorial}}

Hi Nobella Grace Beauties! As many of you have seen on the runways, neutral make up is IN! It's all about showing your natural beauty with neutral colors. This is the type of make up that I wear daily, so I thought I would show you a quick tutorial of how to get an easy, out the door in 10 minutes neutral look!

Here are the products/brushes that I use on a daily basis:

Brushes From Top to Bottom:

Eyeliner Brush- I actually use this to fill in my eyebrows

Eye Shading Brush- to apply and blend my eyeshadow

Contour Brush- to apply bronzer on the apples of my cheeks

Powder Brush- to apply bronzer across my whole face

It may seem like a lot, but I promise you will get a gorgeous neutral look quick!

Step 1:

Start with a clean, lightly moisturized face. I apply a moisturizing lip balm to my lips (I LOVE Raspberry Bang Bang from Perfectly Posh). Then, I add MAC Select Cover-Up to blemishes on my face. I like to make sure to cover up my chin, nose, under my eyes, eyelids, and t-zone areas. Next, I apply MAC Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation all over my face until it is even in coverage.

Step 2:

I apply bronzer to the apples of my cheeks, using the contour brush. Then, I use the powder brush to sweep bronzer lightly over my forehead and chin areas.

Step 3: 

Time for the eyeshadow! I use the soft champagne beige shade (Top row of palette, second from the left) to cover most of my eyelids.

Step 4:

I use the deep golden brown shade (Bottom row of palette, last one on the right) to define the crease of my eyelids.

Step 5:

I use the pink beige shade (Bottom row of palette, first one on the left) to highlight my brow bone (right under my eyebrow).

Step 6:

I sweep Great Lash Clear Mascara through my eyebrows to comb and define them. Then, I use the deep golden brown shade (or whatever color suits your hair color) to fill in my eyebrows. Mine are non-existent, so I use the eyeliner brush to add some color to them :) Feel free to skip this step if it's not needed!

Step 7:

Time for the finishing touches! I add Mega Impact Mascara in Very Black (two coats) on the top and bottom lashes. Then, I use Younique 3D Fiber Lashes to fill in and lengthen my lashes (1 coat of transplanting gel, 1 coat of natural fibers, then finish with one more coat of transplanting gel). Last, I add my favorite lipgloss (MAC Cremesheen Glass in Double Happiness) to complete the look!

Hi Mermaids! 

I am so excited to be blogging on Thursdays and share with you some fabulous fashion tips and finds.  So grab a cup of coffee or a cocktail (hey, it's 5 0'clock somewhere) and lets get down to some girl talk. 

First of all did you see Miss Glam Dan at Phoenix Fashion Week?  We have had the amazing opportunity to style her this week as she rocks the front row.   Don't worry, some of the dresses she is wearing this week maybe showing up for a Flash Sale this weekend.  ;)

Secondly, our Socialite Plaid Top is selling quickly. If you have picked one up or are planning on it here are some fabulous ways to style it that we found via Pinterest.

 

Last up!  I am obsessed with these tanks from H&M.  They are $5.95 and are amazing on their own, under tunics or even under our Gold Coast Hoodies.

Faux Fur Vest ((Fabulousness))

Hi NBG darlings! So I have to be honest, I was a little nervous to rock the faux fur vest trend at first, but once I received the Jet Faux Fur Vest in the mail from Nobella Grace, I was SOLD. This vest is amazing in quality and I absolutely adore the fit! It is pure white, which means it will match with SO much and the black faux leather belt (which is removable!) adds a nice touch. Skinny jeans have become more and more popular in the past few years and continue to make a statement in the fashion world.
